Fly High, Dream High - a Pre-Debut Photo Story

Charming...Beautiful...Happy..Smart...a kind hearted girl who's turning into a woman, ready to face face challenges and start a new journey in the new chapter of her life.

Fly high, Dream High with freedom and responsibility. She is set to step into a more challenging yet rewarding phase of her life, set to achieve her goal.

I was fortunate to have her photograph for her upcoming debut (18th birthday) and I didn't have a hard time working with as she was very cooperative and easy to deal with. Together with her parents and brother, they're all fascinating and awesome, they were all very supportive of her. As I was doing the shoot, it kinda help me motivate to do better as they all exude a different personality, something that will make you feel good.

There was no dull moment during the shoot, I enjoyed a lot working with them and at the same, learn something new with the way I handled a photoshoot.

To this young lady, I wish you good health and happiness in the world and continue flying high to reach your goal.

My Daughter's Pre-Debut Photoshoot

My daughter will be turning 18 soon and so I decided to have photoshoot with her. Taking photographs is about creating memories, telling and sharing a story of what happened in the past, and so I thought my passion for photography can help her relive the beauty of the past.

Takkakaw Falls and Emerald Lake - Yoho National Park

It was a long weekend holiday in Alberta, so I decided to bring my family for a nature trip in Yoho National Park. It is part of Field, British Columbia and about 2 hours and 45minutes from Calgary Southeast where we live.  I have seen pictures and images of the the park particularly Takkakaw Falls and Emerald Lake on the net and I thought it would be the best time to visit the place, I have been living in Calgary for a little more than a decade now but I haven't explored the area yet.

It was a day of fun  and laughter with my family and it's been a while since the whole family got together for a short trip. It was indeed a family bonding opportunity.

I was mesmerized the first time I saw the Takkakaw Waterfalls as it is really stunning, wonderful and breathtaking. The rumbling sounds of the falls and the sweet mists coming from it were just ecstatic. We stayed for a bit around the falls to feel and appreciate the beauty of nature, then off we went to the nearby Emerald Lake.

Emerald Lake is as wonderful as its name, its color, and I was told, it is due to the rock flour or the powdered limestone. Emerald Lake Lodge at the other end of the bridge accommodates guests who want to stay a night or two in the area, they have also nice restaurant by the lake offering everyone a nice view.

I can't help but take the opportunity to take pictures of the area. See below.
